Presented by Kaua‘i’s First Lady Regina Carvalho, the Hawaiian Tea Time honoring Queen Lili‘uokalani at Gaylords at Kilohana was a sold out event earlier this month.

One hundred and forty women attended the cultural and historical event, wearing wardrobes of yesteryear, with beautiful hats and Victorian and Hawaiian attire.

The Hawaiian Tea Time included an appearance by the Royal Court, and offered an afternoon of music, culture, culinary creations and a selection of teas from around the world.

The Aug. 3 event was a fundraiser for Kaua‘i United Way.
