We are excited to announce KKCR’s 2016 Spring Membership Drive. The Drive will run from Noon Thursday, MAY 12th through 11am Wednesday, MAY 25th. Our goal is to raise $60,000. Your support is vital to the continuing operation ofKKCR. There are many ways you can contribute to Kaua`i Community Radio during our membership drive:

  • Make a one-time or sustaining donation –  Donations may be called in at (808) 826-7774, safely donated online at www.kkcr.org, or you may mail your donations to:  KKCR, P.O. Box 825, Hanalei, HI 96714
  • Become a Waverider – For a $175 donation your brief message is aired during every live 2 hour program for the duration of our fourteen day pledge drive (Over 100 mentions). This is a great way to get your business or event message out to the entire island of Kaua`i and support KKCR. Call us at (808) 826-7774 for more information. Waverider Forms are available atwww.kkcr.org.
  • Provide food for our hungry volunteers – Restaurants or individuals may donate food (usually enough for 8 -10 people) for our volunteers while they a busy taking phone calls during the drive.  Food providers will be mentioned on air throughout the drive and receive a 3 month link on our popular websiteKKCR.org.  Please call us at 826-7774 if you are interested in providing food or beverages for the drive.
  • Donate your time – come to the station and help us answer phones and take pledges.  Please call us at 826-7774 to find out more about becoming a KKCRvolunteer.

Your support allows us to preserve and expand independent, non-commercial, listener-supported community radio on Kaua`i. Every day, thousands of listeners tune in to KKCR to be stimulated, educated and entertained by our volunteer programmers. We depend on special individuals who share our belief in the critical importance of KKCR’s mission to preserve, perpetuate and celebrate Hawaiian culture, and to reflect the diversity of the local and world community by providing a forum for overlooked, suppressed, or under-represented voices and music.
MAHALO FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
