“What in the World,” the NTBG-KCC’s 2016 public lecture series, begins with a free talk by author Pamela “Rina” Gordon on Tuesday, January 19 from 5:30 p.m. at KCC’s Campus Center cafeteria. In “Climate Change and Kaua’i: A Positive Response,” Pamela will discuss strategies to mitigate climate change impacts such as renewable energy, design-for-environment principles and more. She will present positive solutions that help protect Kaua’i’s natural resources.
