Visiting Artist from Miami, Florida
Kim is a Multi Disciplined Visual Artist and earned a BFA from Florida International University. She is largely known for her mosaic installations, both public and private. She is an art educator, who believes the process of creating is as important as the product.
Kim’s studio is located on a beach on the island of Key Biscayne. She is inspired by the flux and sinuous rhythms of nature. She works with The Awareness Project helping to increase awareness of ocean debris through art, and was inspired to create the Drift Fish Project in South Florida.
