On September 7, Hi`ipoilani Kanahele, the 2010 Eo e Emmalani i Alaka’i Festival Queen, will make a royal appearance at the Kaua`i Historical Society Victorian Tea, along with members of her entourage.

Kanahele embodies the aloha spirit and will be a charming addition to the festive 4th Annual Victorian Tea to be held at the private McCloskey Estate at Kaua`i Ranch in Kealia from 1 to 4 p.m.

According to a tea committee co-chair, Queen Emma’s visit is a delight to look forward to, better, perhaps than having Queen Victoria, after whose reign the tea event is named, pop in for a visit. Tickets are available from the Kaua`i Historical Society. Call 245-3373 to purchase tickets or for information.
