Step Out of the Norm: 3rd Annual Kaua‘i Fashion Weekend

Flyer #3Kaua’i has been a growing hotspot for design and fashion worldwide.

On April 4, the Kaua‘i Marriott Resort and Beach Club in Kalapaki will be the stage for the Third Annual Fashion Weekend, hosted by the Kaua‘i Fashion Week.

This signature event will be held at the resort’s grand ballroom from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Local Kaua’i designers such as Gypsy Rain, Kaikini Bikini and others will share their exclsuive designs. The show will also showcase internationally renowned designer Louda Larrain, whose collections have been featured in the New York Times, Vogue and exhibitions around the world.

The design and fashion feature of the event is Ahmad Couture, by Mr. Sha Ali Ahmad. Working mostly out of Los Angeles, New Yourk and Florida, Ahmad Couture’s designs are worn by celebrities worldwide. Ahmad now exclusively releases his newest looks at the Kaua‘i Fashion Weekend.

Dinner and ticket shows are nearly sold out, according to organizers, who said they are expecting more than 400 attendees.

Show tickets are $40 in advance, and can be purchased at www.kauaifashionweek.com or at ticket outlets.

The Kaua‘i Marriott Resort and Beach Club is at 3610 Rice St. in Lihu‘e.
