The Kaua‘i Powwow Council was established in 1998. Each year they put together a traditional Native American Powwow for the Kaua‘i community.

For three days, the 19th Annual Kaua‘i Powwow in Paradise in Kapa‘a Beach Park attracted hundreds of residents and visitors. An event for the whole family, several people joined the dancing. There were many crafters and also food available.
