County officials announced that grading work to the Keālia Beach parking lot will begin Monday, April 15, on weekdays, from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather pending, according to a County of Kaua‘i news release.
The project will be done in phases to allow the public access to the areas of the parking lot that are not being worked on. Completion of the project is expected on April 24, weather pending, according to county officials.
Initially, the repair work will start at the northern entrance of the 58,000-square-foot parking lot and move south as areas are completed.
The project is being done by the County of Kaua‘i Department of Public Works.
