A Hale `Opio art project inspires 55 youth to study pre-harbor era Nawiliwili Harbor. The intricate design of night sky, mountains, streams, taro and the sea, depicts sustainable values practiced by Hawaiians in the past and today. The six-foot mural installed at Nawiliwili Yacht Club was dedicated by project coordinator Kathleen Ho to the kalo farmers of today who will be the role models for future generations.
