Kauai Makerspace will host discussion of emerging technology
Spend an evening at your local library learning about 3D printing and see a 3D printer in action. Kauai Makerspace members will present an overview of 3D printing and answer questions about current methods.
3D printing technology has rapidly expanded in the last ten years and is predicted to disrupt manufacturing worldwide. Desktop printers have become available to consumers for a few hundred dollars. Open source software and learning has spread access to anyone with a computer. Local makers build custom parts and rapidly change designs to try in the field.
