The Alzheimer’s Association will be presenting it’s free flagship “Caregiver Training” for family to family caregivers. This award winning program will be presented at the Agency On Elderly Affairs every Friday from February 23 – May 18 from 2:00-3:30 PM. Optional bonus classes will also be offered from May 25-June 8. This series of classes assembles the experience and wisdom of many scientists, generations of caregivers and the Association on how to make caregiving a more reasonable and balanced experience. Find out what you need to know to make your caregiving experience for a family member with Alzheimer’s, or any other disease, more manageable.
To help you decide if this will be helpful for you, here is what previous participants who completed the program said about it in their feedback:
“The caregiver’s class was a life saver for me… I learned new skills and knowledge on how to further care for my mother at a time when I thought I was too overwhelmed to find solutions that would make my life easier and to handle the extra responsibilities I was now facing…”
“It’s comforting to know that I’m not alone and there is help out there.”
“This course has been invaluable. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend.”
