The American Sign Language class series will be a blended learning environment loaded with face-to-face as well as online practicing. Certified and seasoned instructors will lead you in exercises and conversations in the classroom, as well as show you how to use the online tools for practice at home. Both instructors have been working with the State of Hawaii for many years to advocate and interpret for the Deaf community.

We invite all learners with all interests to attend. Whether you want the language skills for working or for communicating with a friend, this program will be perfect for you. After completing this course, you will be able to: Start and maintain conversations with Deaf members of your community. Use useful phrases like how to give and receive directions, and share Island information. Interact with members of the Deaf community
