The “Build Your Business Online” workshop demonstrates how to use the Internet reach locals and visitors. This hands-on, get-it-done-now session teaches business owners to create web content that attracts new business. Each participant will leave with a custom business description, search engine keywords, and web page contents outline.
“While websites work best for search engine marketing, social media can also be used to generate traffic and send it to the website, which can then capture email addresses,” said presenter Robert Gluckson, M.A., owner of Marketing Consulting Services.”
“Internet marketing can connect Kauai businesses with visitors while they are still off-island. Local businesses reach local customers who search for their service by location and product or service. These are the custom “keywords” each business needs to get found on Google,” he said.
This workshop is part of a series developed for the Kauai Internet Marketing Group, offering local businesses and internet professionals a place to share, learn, and connect. Visit the Kauai Internet Marketing Group Facebook page to be notified of future events.
The workshop is offered by Hawaii Small Business Development Center with support from Kauai Community College, Office of Continuing Education (OCET).
