5:00-6:30 PM

Dr. Raine is the Project Manager for the Kauai Endangered Seabird Recovery Project. Kauai is the last main refuge in the World for the endemic Newell’s Shearwater, as well as holding internationally important populations of two other endemic species-the Hawaiian Petrel and the Band-rumped Storm-petrel. The Kauai Endangered Seabird Recovery Project conducts research on all three species and undertakes a wide range of conservation initiatives to help protect them and reverse their declines.

This FREE event is sponsored by the Friends of the North Shore Library at Princeville as part of the Dotty Nakea Memorial Speaker Program and by the Princeville Public Library.

To request a sign language interpreter, please call the Princeville Public Library (826-4310) at least 14 days prior to the program.
