Early learning for families with children ages birth to five years. During this hour-long free public program, children will engage in the five early learning skills: Read, Talk, Write, Sing, and Play! The first 20 minutes of the program are led by the librarian, featuring age-appropriate stories, action rhymes, and songs. The rest of the program is dedicated to free play with the library’s collection of educational toys and puzzles. Toddlers and preschool aged children may also have the opportunity to participate in a process art activity or make a simple craft to take home. Please note that all young children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Please notify the library if any sign language interpretation or other special accommodation is needed at least 15 days in advance.
