Beach clean up, painting and improvement at The Kamalani Play Bridge, and other projects will be on tap at Lydgate Park for this year’s Earth Day community work day, running from 7:30 am to 12 Noon, Saturday, April 22, organized by the Friends of Kamalani and Lydgate Park. This year more than 150 volunteers from around Kauai will show their aloha spirit and pitch in to help keep Lydgate Park the wonderful outdoor resource it is for all of Kauai. Snacks and lunch will be provided!

On the workday morning volunteers are asked to report to the Main Pavilion in Lydgate Park near Morgan’s Pond. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a water bottle, work gloves, sun screen and wear appropriate shoes.
