The Hawaii State Public Library System is sponsoring eight Honolulu Theatre for Youth performances of “Ouch!” on Hawaii, Kauai, Maui, Lanai and Molokai this fall.  These 30-minute performances are sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i, with the Lanai performance sponsored by the Lanai Community Benefit Fund.

“Ouch!” is a story about brother and sister, BOO and HOO from a place called “Ouch” where things get fixed.  BOO and HOO are happy, even though they always seem to get an Ouch! Like the time when they got their fingers trapped in the door and the time they fell and scraped their knees. Then, one day BOO and HOO begin to feel other people’s ouches. So they set out on an adventure with their box of band aids to fix all the ouches in the world.

Children, ages 2 and older, are welcome to come and enjoy these 30-minute performances.  No reservations are required, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

“Ouch!” performances will be at these public libraries on Kauai.
