Free and Open to the Public

The community is invited to attend the Kauai Regional Science and Engineering Fair on Friday, February 26, 2016, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Student projects will be on display and community organizations will demonstrate how science and/or engineering is used in their workplace, from 3:30-5:30 PM. Experts in a variety of professions, will be on hand to demonstrate various scientific or engineering concepts, from how a human heart works, to 3D printing, to rocketry, to the hydraulics on a fire engine, and many more!


The awards ceremony will begin at 5:30, with guest speakers William Arakaki, Complex Area Superintendent, and Margaret Cox, Kaua‘i Board of Education Member. The winners from the regional fair will move on to the Hawai‘i State Science and Engineering Fair, and the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
