Koloa Plantation Days is held on Kauai’s south shore every year in July. The many ethnic groups that came to Hawaii to work on sugar plantations, and the Hawaiians who welcomed them, are celebrated through music, dance, costumes, and food throughout this ten-day festival. Events include: movies, rodeo, services, history, fishing, golf, live music, and much more.

Pre Festival Events: Tree Tunnel Cleanup, Saturday, July 8th, 6am, at Anne Knudsen (Koloa) Ballpark. Movies in the Park Friday, July 14th, 8pm, at Poipu Beach Park.

Friday, July 21st, 2017: 18th Annual Plantation Days Rodeo, Preliminary Roping. Free Admission, 9am, at CJM Stables. Bull Bash, 6th Annual Music in the Country, Food Truck Frenzy & Barrel Racing Bull Bash, 5pm, at CJM Stables rodeo arena.

Saturday, July 22nd, 2017; St. Raphael’s Church, 8am come early for pre-walk coffee hour and visit St. Raphael’s Church. Historic Hapa Trail Walk, 9am, departing from St. Raphael’s Church. 18th Annual Plantation Days Rodeo, two full days of Hawaiian Style Rodeo Action, 11am, at CJM Stables. Keiki Fishing at Waita, 1pm, at Waita Reservoir. Festival Opening & Sunset Ho’olaulea, 5pm, at Poipu Beach Athletic Club.

Sunday, July 23rd, 2017: Miniature Golf Tournament, 10am, at Lawai Beach Resort. 18th Annual Plantation Days Rodeo, two full days of Hawaiian Style Rodeo Action, 11am, at CJM Stables. Mixed Plate – Live Music, 5pm, at Old Koloa Town Courtyard (behind Crazy Shirts).

Monday, July 24th, 2017: View Kaneiolouma at Poipu, 9am, at the Poipu Beach Park turnoff. Plantation-Style Living: An Afternoon of Art, Stories and Refreshment, 4pm, at The Smith Memorial Parsonage, 3281 Waikomo Road, Kōloa. Historic Film Night and Exhibit, 6pm, at The Shops at Kukui`ula.

Tuesday, July 25th, 2017: Koloa Plantation Days Heritage Craft Fair, 9am, at Grand Hyatt Resort & Spa. Historic Tour of McBryde Garden and Talk Story, 5pm, at National Tropical Botanical Garden. Polynesian Revue & Fire Dancing, 7:30pm, at Courtyard at Poipu Shopping Village.

Wednesday, July 26th, 2017: Mahaulepu Coastal Hike , 9:30am, meet at CJM Stables at 9am. Traditional Hawaiian Games, 10am, at Kiahuna Plantation Resort by Outrigger. Plantation Cooking at Kauai Culinary Market, 3:30pm, at The Shops at Kukui`ula.
