In this 2-hour workshop, Aletha takes you through the mango jam-making process from start to finish. Together we will create a batch of traditional mango jam. The roll of sugar, the importance of lemon juice and how to add it, the states of cooking, and how to test accurately for doneness will be addressed. This class begins with light pupus, a jam tasting and discussion, then proceeds to the cooking process.
Each attendee will be a part of creating our batch of mango jam and have the opportunity to take home one completed jar.
