This spectacular coastal hike starts at Shipwreck Beach in the afternoon and ends with the full moon glistening on the ocean along the shores of Maha’ulepu. We’ll shuttle cars to make this a leisurely one-way hike. Please read the Victory Hikes story in this Malama to see why Maha’ulepu was chosen to celebrate Sierra Club’s 50th Anniversary in Hawai’i and why this majestic coastal area was one of the top 7 remaining wild and scenic shorelines in Hawai’i for Sierra Club’s “Keep it Wild” campaign. South shore, moderate/4 miles.
