This is an advanced training for professional and recreational ocean users interested in personal safety and rescue skills development and practice. The training is based on the principles and practices of the USLA (United States Lifesaving Association) and the American Red Cross. The course may be applicable to the DLNR ORMA Blue Card requirements for surf instructors and Na Pali kayak guides. Applicants must be in good physical condition, and able to complete a 500 yard swim (pool). Advance registration required.
