August 2, 2015 to August 5, 2015 All Day
Global trainers and teachers Ami Chen Mills-Naim & Gabriela Maldonado-Montano will lead a four-day retreat at the Hanalei Community Center, on Kauai’s dramatic North Shore. This peaceful, yet empowering retreat will guide us back to our core nature: wellness, peace, compassion & insight. Through understanding the gifts of this innate aloha, and how it becomes obstructed, our family relationships, work relationships and relationship to Life itself become increasingly joyful and harmonious, infused with a sense of Presence that we ourselves bring to each moment and situation.
For more than 35 years, a simple psychology based on spiritual principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought has impacted schools, communities, major corporations and governmental agencies across the U.S. and now globally.
Results include increased resiliency, compassion and understanding across human relationships, decreased stress and depression, increased academic achievement, decreased crime, and increased collaboration and productivity in businesses.
Four Community Scholarships are still available for this retreat. Applicants must be low-income Kauai residents, and/or work for an agency that serves children and youth on the island.
Optional Restorative Yoga Sessions with Karen Ortiz are included. Ms. Ortiz is a national-level gymnast, yoga teacher and health & wellness professional.
