PMRF to Sponsor Neon Nights Fun Run/Walk

The Pacific Missile Range Facility welcomes all participants island-wide to sign up for Kauai’s second annual run/walk at the Navy base, Oct. 23.

“The Neon Nights Run/Walk is not your ordinary 3-mile fun run,” said Jerrick Fabro, who is helping organize the event through the Morale, Welfare and Recreation division. “It’s a fun-filled experience for all ages. Experience a Halloween-themed course filled with illuminating lights, motivating music, and of course neon glow-(washable) powder paint.”

“But that’s not all,” added Fabro. “After the run, the party continues at Shenanigans restaurant. Refuel with a post-run meal and dance the night away with a DJ who will be spinning the latest tracks “

This event will be held at PMRF Barking Sands and gates will open at 4 p.m.; registration starts at 5 p.m.; and the run begins at 6:20 p.m. Registration for the run/walk is $40 for general public until October 9th, 10th -20th is $45 and then day of is $50; which includes a special dinner at Shenanigans and a special event shirt for early registrants.
