It was a lively scene at HA Coffee Bar in Lihue on Thursday, October 29, 2015, to what was a successful Ladies Night of Indulgence with ladies being pampered during the fundraiser event. Over 120 people attended for free massages, make-up, essential oils, giveaways, and prizes. Live music by singer songwriter, Joey Charles.
Organized with help from The Specific Chiropractic Center – Kaua’i, owned and operated by Dr. Addison Bulosan, the event fundraised $820 towards The Zonta Club of Kaua’i Foundation. “It’s a great way to get people together for a good cause and have fun at the same time. Fundraising doesn’t have to be an awkward and boring thing,” says Dr. Bulosan.
The Zonta Club of Kaua’i Foundation is the August recipient of Sheraton’s Table 53 Fundraiser award, and reciprocally awarded over $110,000 in scholarship funds to young women wishing to advance their statuses in society through higher education. Zonta Club of Kaua’i is part of the Zonta International as a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. Funds raised at this event will go towards education and scholarships.
