If you always wanted a unique quilt made on Kaua‘i, this is the chance to score one and at the same time, help out a nonprofit organization.

The Kaua‘i Quilt Show opens Feb. 10 with the Meet the Quilters reception from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Kaua‘i Society of Artists gallery at Kukui Grove Center. The show will continue until Feb. 22.

More than 60 locally made quilts will be on display, with many of them available for purchase. Designated donation quilts will be sold, with 100 percent of profits going to a local nonprofit organization of the buyers’ choice.

Attendees will be able to cast their votes for the Viewers’ Choice 2017 award.

The free exhibit will run daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Fridays until 8 p.m.) until Feb. 22. The event is sponsored by Kaua‘i Quilt Guild, Nene Quilters, Discount Fabric Warehouse, Kapaia Stitchery and Vick’s Fabric.
