Wala‘au Celebrates 20 Years of Magic

Engulfed in a multitude of lei, media entrepreneur Dickie Chang and videographer Bruce Smalling celebrated last Saturday the 20^th anniversary of Wala‘au, a weekly TV show shedding a light on the Garden Isle’s community.

More than 350 people attending the sold-out event at the Kaua‘i Marriott Resort at Kalapaki Beach were treated to a dinner buffet and entertainment from Larry Rivera, Kalapana and the Greenstone Project.

A video presentation featured a retrospective of Wala‘au’s 20 years on air.

One hundred percent of the profits raised in the event will help Life’s Bridges Hawai‘i to continue to raise awareness for their Suicide Prevention Project.
