County officials are reminding motorists that starting Thursday, June 4 Umi Street will be closed at the Hardy Street intersection to allow for the construction of a roundabout.

The eight-week project is expected to be completed by July 28.

Road closure signs and barricades are posted.

Motorists will need to seek alternate routes and allow extra travel time to get to their destinations.

The roundabout is part of the large-scale Hardy Street Improvements project.
