Stem Cell Therapy Proving to be Miraculous

By Uma Sivanathan

I recently viewed the 10-day online docu-series, The Healing Miracle of Stem Cells. After listening to experts in Prolotherapy from around the world, who expressed their successes with stem cell treatment, and hearing testimonials from those who have recovered from debilitating chronic conditions, I feel this is a miraculous breakthrough that will transform our health care system.

Stem cell treatment can contribute to a pain-free, quality of life throughout our time on Earth.

I will share with you what I have learned, and I encourage those interested in stem cell treatment to thoroughly research it. I have included the names and contact info of three physicians whom I have spoken with and feel good about. My husband and I are looking into our options for the treatment of his knees and lower back.

According to the definition in Wikipedia, our stem cells act as a repair system for our bodies, healing and replenishing our tissues.

Our own fat tissue (adipose) is an abundant source of stromal vascular fraction stem cells, which include mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). MSCs make the tissues in our bodies and the lack of them can be the root cause of all chronic illnesses.

One type of Prolotherapy is to harvest adipose stem cells from our own bodies by liposuction. The cells are separated from the fat and then injected into the place that needs healing.

Stem cells are capable of regenerating and replicating the healthy cells to which they are exposed. They have the potential to become, cartilage, tendon, ligament and bone.

A very successful procedure is to combine stem cells with platelet-rich plasma. PRP is a concentration of the patient’s circulating platelet levels, which are isolated and concentrated by centrifugation. They are injected back into a site that needs healing, along with stem cells.

PRP is abundant in growth factors and stimulates the migration of stem cells to the injury site to promote remarkable tissue healing.

Degenerated tissue of a joint or ligament is identified by the stem cells. They “home in” and make new copies of the damaged cell. Damaged ligament, tendon, bone, skin and other connective tissue are very receptive to PRP/stem cell combination.

This is called regeneration.

Dr. Kevin Davison of Maui Regenerative Medicine Center is very successful with combining stem cell therapy with PRP therapy for joint issues. His contact info is 808 575-2328 or MauaiRegenerativeMedicine@gmail.com.

The Seattle Stem Cell Center has been conducting a clinical trial, and has treated more than 7,000 patients for many different chronic illnesses, with no adverse affects. They have clearly established the safety and efficacy factors of stem cell treatment.

The conditions they are having great success with are: spinal cord injuries; rheumatoid arthritis; autism; Alzheimer’s; Parkinson’s; multiple sclerosis; muscular dystrophy; diabetes; asthma; COPD; kidney disease; lung disease; congestive heart failure; post heart attack; neck, knee, hip, elbow, hand, shoulder and spine arthritis.

Their contact info is: Dr. Tami Meraglia (800) 817-9377 or seattlestemcellcenter.com.

The third contact I have made is Dr. Pasquale of Hawai‘i Stem Cell Treatment Center on O‘ahu. Pasquale specializes in the treatment of knee conditions. His contact info is: 808 945-5433 or hawaiistemcelltreatment.com.

The procedure for stem cell treatment is a three-to-four-hour in-office procedure. Many people feel better soon after the treatment because some inflammation is relieved. The majority of people feel great relief from their condition after two-to-three months.

With stem cell therapy, we are tapping into the opportunity of self-healing. This will change the course of health care because the technology is within us.
