8th ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

Proceeds to benefit Kaua‘i charitable organizations

The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas announces its 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held Sunday, July 17th, 2016 at the Makai Golf Club at Princeville. All proceeds from the event will benefit charitable organizations on Kaua‘i. The event price is $125 per entrant and will include cart, green fees, gift bag and an awards luncheon on the “19th hole” at The Westin Princeville’s Main Lawn with live entertainment and prizes. A helicopter ball drop is scheduled in conjunction with the tournament. Tickets for the ball drop will be $10 each and the prizes included $1,500 cash for first place, $1,000 for second place and $500 for third place.A total of over $60,000 has been raised since the tournament’s inception in 2009.

“We welcome participants to join our annual Charity Golf Tournament as a way to give back to our island ‘ohana while having a great time and the opportunity to win wonderful prizes,” says General Manager Denise Wardlow.

The Westin Princeville continues to welcome golfers to register, as well as sponsors for the event. The resort’s ongoing commitment to Kaua‘i charitable organizations has generated over $350,000 to benefit the community since the resort’s opening in 2008.
