Kaua`i Habitat for Humanity Announces Sunset Super Sale Oct. 15

Kaua`i Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore® will be hosting a Sunset Super Sale on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The sale will be held after normal business hours and will offer deep discounts. The entire store will be 20% off with up to 75% off in selected departments. As more space is created by the sale, more merchandise can be put out for our customers.  Not only will you be able to go home with some fantastic new purchases, you will also be supporting the mission of Kaua`i Habitat for Humanity; building affordable housing.

ReStore® is located in Hanapēpē on Kaumuali`i Highway, across from Salt Pond Country Store. The ReStore® entrance is adjacent to Kaua`i Habitat’s main office (1-3410 Kaumuali’i Highway).

Since 1992 Kaua`i Habitat has built 111 affordable homes and made critical repairs to 20 existing homes for Kaua`i families whose household income is between 30-80% of the median Kaua`i income. Because the critical need for affordable housing continues to persist on our island, Kaua`i Habitat has pledged to scale up our capacity and build 100 homes before the next decade.

ReStore is owned and operated by Kaua`i Habitat for Humanity. ReStore sells new and used discounted building and construction materials, home improvement items, gently used furniture, appliances, clothing and household goods, to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. Proceeds from ReStore support

 The mission of ReStore is to generate additional financial support for Kaua’i Habitat for Humanity in an effort to eliminate poverty housing on the island; to provide value to the Kaua`i community through sales of discounted building materials and other household items; and to provide good stewardship of sustainable resources by diverting construction and household materials from landfills.

ReStore is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM. ReStore is closed Sundays and Mondays and major Holidays.
