On Thursday, November 7th, the Zonta Club of Kauai will have the pleasure having guest speaker Renae Hamilton, Executive Director of the YWCA. She will be speaking about the 1st Annual YWCA’s Women’s Expo, Pink Sunday, to be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Kauai Veterans Center. This will be a fundraising event to benefit the programs of the YWCA of Kauai, that work to end violence against women and children.

Biographical information:

Kaua`i has been home for Renae Hamilton for over 20 years.  During that time Renae has followed her passion of helping women and children.  She taught elementary school and was the principal at St. Catherine’s School when Hurrican Iniki devastated the island.   For the past 16 years Renae has been fortunate to be part of the YWCA work Ohana.  At the YWCA, Renae has been a crisis worker, program director and for the past 6 years, the Executive Director.   Family, friends and traveling keep Renae renewed and thankful for everyday.  Renae holds a Masters Degree in Education Administration

The Zonta Club of Kauai holds their general membership meeting on the first Thursday of each month at the Regency at Puakea in Puhi.  For more information
