On Saturday, January 12, 2013, HGEA volunteers picked up litter alongside the highway in Lihue town from Wilcox Hospital to the Lihue Mill bridge in conjunction with the Department of Transportation’s Adopt A Highway program. The HGEA has participated in this community service project on a quarterly basis since 1992.
As small a contribution as this effort might be, we move forward with our goal of making Kauai a better place to live.
