Wilcox Health Signs on for Three-Year Title Sponsorship for Ohana Fit Fest

Annual event promotes healthy and active lifestyle for family

The Kaua‘i North Shore Community Foundation has announced a three-year title sponsorship commitment by Wilcox Health for the popular Ohana Fit Fest. Hosted by the foundation, the annual Ohana Fit Fest is a fun day on Hanalei Bay featuring contests and games for the whole family.

“Wilcox Health is committed to keeping Kaua‘i healthy. We are happy to be able to partner with the Kaua‘i North Shore Community Foundation to bring health and wellness programs to our community,” said Jen Chahanovich, president and CEO of Wilcox Health.

Proceeds of the Ohana Fit Fest presented by Wilcox Health will be directed toward charitable and nonprofit projects that enhance the vitality and well-being of local residents. “The Kaua‘i North Shore Community Foundation champions health and fitness for all ages,” said Ken Rosenthal, Ohana Fit Fest chair and Kaua‘i North Shore Community Foundation board member.

“Healthy individuals help to create a robust community,” continues Rosenthal. “Wilcox Health and Ohana Fit Fest are a perfect partnership to boost the focus on health and wellness across the north shore.”

The Ohana Fit Fest presented by Wilcox Health will start at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Waioli Beach Park (Pine Trees) in Hanalei, Kaua‘i. With age divisions from keiki to kūpuna, the event demonstrates that fitness is fun for all ages.

The event is free to the public and includes an obstacle course, keiki beach flag games, wellness expo and Knockerball demos. Obstacle course participants who register by Friday, July 15, receive a free event shirt. Visit OhanaFitFest.org for more information and registration.
